The Rooms
The Margarita Hotel has 12 rooms divided between the ground floor and the first floor. The hotel has kept a simple, warm and elegant style. The hotel rooms are the old rooms of the house. The uniqueness of each hotel room lies in the fact that they all differ in size, design and orientation.
All rooms are equipped with a small bathroom (shower, sink, toilet), a small refrigerator and air conditioning.
Room No. 15 - Hera
About the Goddess HeraThis room is named after the Heraion of Argos, National Sanctuary of the Argives and one of the most famous shrines of goddess Hera in Greece. Valerios Staïs in fact started his career as an archaeologist in Argolis.
Located on the ground floor.
Room for one or two people with view on the front hotel terrace.

Room No. 16 - Hephaestus
About the God HephaestusThis room is named after the temple of Hephaestus (known as the Theseion) located in the Ancient Agora of Athens.
Located on the ground floor.
Room for one or two people.
Double bed, overlooking the terrace and the Kastro, the countryside and the sea.

About the God AresRoom dedicated to the God Ares, god of war but also lover of Aphrodite, with whom he had several children, including Eros.
Located on the ground floor.

About the God ZeusThe room takes its name from the temple of Zeus in Olympia.
Located on the ground floor.
Room for up to four people.
Two twin beds and two sofa – beds.
Has an elegant wood and glass separation.

About the Goddess AthenaThis room takes its name from the small temple of Athena at Cape Sounion, excavated by V. Staïs.
Located on the ground floor.
Room for one to three people, ideal for couples with children.
Two twin beds. A third bed located in a small stone alcove.
Overlooking the terrace and the countryside of Chora.

About the God ApolloThe room takes its name from the statue of Apollo with the dulcimer, one of the great marble sculptures of Antikythira discovered by Valerios Staïs.

About the Goddess DemeterThis room is named from the sacred temple of Eleusis, where the famous Eleusinian Mysteries were celebrated. Goddess Demeter and her daughter Persephone appear to have been central figures of the Eleusinian Mysteries.

About the God Dionysus.This room is named after the Theatre of Dionysus, built beneath the Acropolis.

Room No. 24 - Aphrodite
About the Goddess Aphrodite.This room takes its name after the Goddess of the island, Aphrodite. According to mythology, Kythira is Aphrodite's birth place (and more precisely the island called Avgo or Hytra). There was a sanctuary on the hill of Paleokastro dedicated to Aphrodite.
Located on the 1st floor.

Two twin beds and a small sofa bed for one person.
A door leads to a small balcony with wrought iron balustrade.
Overlooking the sea, the fortress of Chora and the surrounding countryside.

About the God PoseidonThis room is dedicated to the temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, excavated by V. Staïs. These excavations brought to light two splendid Kouros statues.

About the God HermesThis room is dedicated to the Antikythira Ephèbe, one of the finest archaeological findings discovered in a shipwreck, close to the island of Antikythira. Hermes is the God of travel and commerce.

About the Goddess ArtemisThis room is named after the sanctuary of Artemis at Brauron, where V. Staïs has performed many successful excavations.
